Why Consulting?
Why Applied Attachment Counseling & Consulting?
For almost two decades, I've had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, and families strengthen relationships, navigate conflict, and heal from life's most difficult experiences. Throughout my clinical work, one truth became increasingly clear: the principles that help people thrive in their personal lives are the very same principles that allow leaders, teams, and organizations to thrive.
Over time, I began to recognize that many of the challenges organizations face are not simply management problems—they are relationship and leadership challenges.
Today's leaders are expected to navigate increasing complexity, coach employees, lead through uncertainty, manage conflict, support employee well-being, and sustain high-performing teams—all while continuing to excel in their own roles. Yet few receive formal training in the human side of leadership.
That realization led me to create Applied Attachment Counseling & Consulting.
My vision was to translate decades of clinical expertise, reserach and the science of human attachment into a practical leadership framework that organizations can immediately apply. Rather than teaching leadership theory alone, I help leaders understand how people experience stress, trust, uncertainty, and connection—and how those experiences directly influence communication, decision-making, engagement, innovation, and performance.
The goal isn't to turn leaders into therapists.
The goal is to equip them with practical, evidence-based relational skills that increase psychological safety, strengthen communication, build trust, reduce unnecessary stress, and create environments where people can perform at their best—even during periods of significant change.
I believe leadership is fundamentally relational. Technical expertise may earn someone a leadership position, but relationships determine whether people choose to follow, collaborate, innovate, and remain engaged over time.
Applied Attachment Counseling & Consulting exists to translate the science of human connection into practical leadership strategies that help organizations develop healthier leaders, stronger teams, and more resilient cultures.
Because when leaders create secure relationships, organizations create the conditions for people—and performance—to thrive.
At Applied Attachment Counseling & Consulting, I don't simply teach leadership—I create opportunities for leaders to learn, practice, and apply evidence-based relational skills in the context of their own organizational challenges."
